Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the monitoring of measuring instruments and tools and ensuring the validity of calibration for assignment, as well as, management and handling of monitoring and measuring instruments as In-Process Quality;
- Audits product and process to ensure compliance to ISO, internal and external requirements.
- Promotes the use of statistical problem solving, quality improvement techniques such as SPC, 7QC tools, 8D and FMEA.
- Conducts cross functional trainings related to quality improvement.
- Identifies, analyzes and documents quality investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintains clear and regular communication with relevant AK individuals.
- Cascades relevant information to staffs related to memorandums, HR communications and changes in organizational management.
- Performs other relevant tasks that maybe assigned from time to time by immediate superior and manager.
Job Requirements:
- With degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Chemical or Industrial) or equivalent.
- Safety and quality management systems background and familiarity
- With 2 or more years of experience in quality engineering, both product and systems, including supplier and customer management.
- With experience in overall deployment of quality management systems aligned with ISO standards
- Intermediate to expert experience level in MS Office tools such as excel, powerpoint and word
- Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
- Able to think out of the box, quality oriented, perform risk analysis and mitigation and manage changes
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and can work with flexible schedule as deemed necessary.
